Me: "Can you guys please stop screaming? It really hurts my ear." (Note - I was dealing with an ear infection that made my ear ring really loudly and resonate really awfully with the sound of children's voices, not fun.)
Gideon: "Aw, Mommy, does your ears hurt?"
Me: "Yeah."
Gideon: (runs over and hugs my legs) "Poor Mommy!"
Judith: "Oh Mom, just get better soon. I don't think I can go very long without screaming!!!"
At least she's honest
