It's Better to be Prepared!

Yesterday morning Ruthie was up when Dave was leaving for work, so he brought her to the bed for me (she won't sleep in our bed if both of us are there, but she will if there's only one of us). I nursed her and we both drifted off again.

Then later I woke up to her standing beside the bed, with her boots in hand, and the biggest smile ever on her face. I was hardly awake but she insisted I put her boots on her (over her pj's). She LOVES her boots! I guess she wanted to be ready in case the kids decided to go play outside, or if we were going anywhere that day.

I guess that isn't as funny as it is cute. It just seemed like a random thing to wake up to!
