Judith: "Pulling the guts and seeds out of pumpkins is easy! It's like pulling teeth!"

Rev up that Broom!

Judith made a big mess on the floor, so I asked her to clean it up.

She grabbed the broom, and started "revving" it as she swept, saying "Brrroooom! Brrr Brrr Brrr Broooom!" (as in vroom)

I wish I had it on video, it was hilarious! I need to learn how to make chores that fun.

Awesomeness

Me: "What are you guys doing?"

Judith: "We are playing octopuses!"

Gideon: "And I'm Octipus Prime!!!!!"

Overheard at the Breakfast Table

Judith: "I don't take orders from you! I only take orders from Mommy!"

Guessing Game

Gideon (bursts into the room): "Whooooooooo smells poopy?!?!"

Me: "Does Gideon smell poopy?"

Gideon: "...yeah."

Great.

The Bird Whisperer

While I was hanging out laundry, Gideon was outside having an argument with a bird.

It kind of went like this...

Bird: "Squak"

Gideon: "No!"

Bird: "Squak"

Gideon: "No!"

And so on and so on...

Finally Gideon said "No bird, you can't honk that whistle!!!!"
